Energy Experts Speaking at the Energizing Efficiency Conference

Fredericton, N.B. – NB Power is pleased to be hosting New Brunswick businesses, communities and energy leaders at this year’s Energizing Efficiency Conference.
NB Power will host its fourth conference focused on energy efficiency on May 24 and 25, 2023 at the Fredericton Convention Centre. This year’s theme is Building Momentum.
“Momentum is building to avoid the impacts of climate change through energy efficiency, carbon reduction and the transition to cost-effective, clean energy,” said Lori Clark, NB Power’s President and CEO. “The Energizing Efficiency conference brings together the experts and knowledge to help New Brunswickers learn how to adopt energy efficient attitudes and behaviours that are critical for future energy security.”
Microsoft Canada’s General Manager of Energy & Resources Jamie Dinsmore, will present the keynote address, “The Decade of How: Accelerating Canada’s Journey to Net Zero.” Mr. Dinsmore will discuss the global shift from pledges to progress and the role of people and technology in accelerating the journey to net zero.
In addition, New Brunswick businesses and international energy experts will share key learnings, strategies and new technologies to help organizations reach their sustainability goals. The event features over 35 speakers, 32 breakout and panel sessions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other business leaders and connect with energy experts from across Canada and the US.
In previous years, the conference has attracted almost 300 participants from more than 100 organizations. The conference agenda is available online at www.efficiencyconference.com.
