You’ll need your NB Power account number and postal code to validate your credentials.

Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit and Mastercard Debit are accepted.

How will I know if the payment was successful?

You will see a confirmation screen once your payment is complete. You will also receive payment confirmation by email or text (SMS).

How quickly will the payment be posted to my account?

It may take up to three (3) business days for the payment to appear on your NB Power account.

Why is there a fee to pay my bill by credit card?

NB Power doesn’t accept credit card payments directly because credit card issuers charge interchange fees. These fees would increase the overall costs for all customers. The processing fee is charged by EZ-PAY and passed directly to the customer and are not collected by NB Power.

If your payment is declined, you will see a message on screen and no funds will be transferred.

What happens if I paid in error or made a mistake in the amount I paid?

It’s OK. We know mistakes can happen. If you need to cancel or change a payment after it’s been submitted, please contact our Customer Care team 1 800-663-6272. Our Customer Service Representatives are available Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (excluding major holidays).
